Hydration day

Hydration day is generally celebrated as a week but we only the one day. Hydration is so important to life as it keeps us all going. if we were to become dehydrated it can have some very serious impacts. We as a home aim for every resident to have a minimum of 1500ml with in the 24hr period anything over that is a bonus. This year for hydration day we had the residents make there own smoothies with ice cream, lots of fruit and milk. They were then blended up and shared out around the residents.

George enjoying his drink made by the others.

Marie making up a mango and strawbery smoothy

Nancy showing the others how its done

As per usual Dot is more interested in eating the ice cream than sharing it
